Ingredients For Making Seafood Stew
These are the ingredients you will need to make this Seafood Stew Recipe:
- 15 White Shrimp
- 24 Little Neck Clams
- 1/2 Tablespoon Black Pepper
- 5 Tablespoons Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup of Flour
- 1 Stock of Celery cut up fine.
- 1 Medium Red Onion chopped fine
- 1 Pound of cut up Cod or other White Fish
- 3 cups of Water
- 2 Tablespoons minced Garlic
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 Potato Cubed
- 1 Carrot cut fine
- 1 Tablespoon Sea Salt
- 2 Tablespoons fresh cut Parsley
Cooking Instructions For Cooking Seafood Stew
Start out by washing and cleaning the Clams and Shrimp. In a boiling pot of 3 cups of Water Add the 24 Little Neck Clams unil there about open, then add the Pound of cut up Cod or other White Fish, and Pound of cut up Cod or other White Fish. Do not over cook the Seafood, this part of the recipe is just to make the Seafood Stock. Remove the Shellfish from the boiling water and set a side. In your Stock Pot full of the Seafood Stock add the 1 Medium Red Onion chopped fine , Bay leaf, 2 Tablespoons minced Garlic 1 tablespoon sea salt, and the 1/2 Tablespoons Black Pepper. In a Fry Pan add 5 Tablespoons Virgin Olive Oil and bring to heat add the 1/2 cup of Flour and cook to make a light roux. Add the roux to the boiling Seafood AStock to thicken it up. Return all the Shellfish less the clam shells to the Stew. cook for 5 more minutes to infuse the flavors into your recipe. The final step in making Seafood Stew Soup is to add 2 tablespoons fresh cut parsley and serve. This is a light Seafood Stew and it tastes great.
