To make this easy Chinese Egg Roll recipe you will need the following ingredients
1 1/2 cups Cabbage
1/4 cup Carrot julienned
1 pound fresh small shrimp.
2 1/2 cups cooking oil
2 tablespoons Sesame oil
1 tablespoon garlic
1 tablespoon dried mustard
12 Chinese Egg Roll Skins
1 tablespoon 5 spice Chinese seasoning

This is The Bald Chef’s recipe to cook some very good Egg Rolls the way they do in China. Start out by cutting up the 1 1/2 cups Cabbage, and prepping the 1/4 julienned Carrot. Peal and de-vein the small shrimp. Mix the Shrimp , Cabbage and Carrot in a bowl with 1 tablespoon 5 spice Chinese seasoning. In a Chinese Wok add 2 tablespoons Sesame oil, and bring to heat. Add the 2 tablespoons Sesame oil, and the 1 tablespoon garlic. Stir fry the Cabbage, Shrimp, and Carrot for about 1 0r 2 minutes to release some of the moisture and infuse the spice. Remove the mixture and set to cool. Take 12 Chinese Egg Roll Skins and spoon in the shrimp egg roll filling in one egg roll skin at a time. Roll the filling tight into the Chinese Egg Roll Skins and seal with a mixture of corn starch and water. To make the sauce mix 1 tablespoon of water and 1 tablespoon dried mustard, to same the egg roll sauce. Add 2 1/2 cups cooking oil to your Wok and bring to heat. Add your Chinese egg rolls into the heated oil and cook for 6 minutes until golden brown. Remove The egg rolls from the oil and plate them with the mustard sauce.
