Ingredients For Great 3 Bean Salad Recipe
To make a great 3 bean salad you will need the following ingredients:
- 1/2 Red Beans soaked over night in water
- 1/4 pounds fresh Green beans
- 1/4 pounds fresh Yellow wax beans
- 5 tablespoons virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 red spanish onion chopped
- 5 rounds of cracked Black Pepper
- 1 tablespoons Sea salt
- 3 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
Cooking Instructions 3 Bean Salad Recipe
Soak 1/2 Red beans overnight in water. In a small stock pot add 5 cups of water and cook the Red Beans until tender (about 1 hour) with no salt. Remove and drain the water from the beans and set aside to cool. In the same stock pot cook the 1/4 pounds fresh Green beans, and the 1/4 pounds fresh Yellow wax beans for 3 min. until they are blanched. Place the beans in a ice bath to stop the cooking a cool the beans. Mix the cool red beans and the yellow, and green beans in a bowl. Dress the 3 Bean Salad with 1/4 red Spanish onion chopped, 5 tablespoons virgin oil, 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, and 1 tablespoons sea salt. Mix all the salad ingredients and place in your refrigerator for two hours, and you are ready to serve.
