To Cook This Clasic Fried Thai Flounder recipe you will need the following ingredients:

Cut the Flounder with slits on both sides of the fish, and then coat with flour for dusting the Flounder. In a wok on high heat add 1/2 cup of cooking oil and place 1 1/2 pound Fresh Flounder dusted with 1/4 cup flour cook on one side for 6 minutes. Remove the Flounder from the cooking oil and place aside on paper towels. The next step in this recipe is to pre pare the basil and Thai chili sauce. In you wok on high heat add 2 tablespoons of of cooking oil and bring up to high heat. The next step is to add 2 tablespoons garlic minced, 1 green onion cut thin, 1/4 cup Thai basil and 7 hot Thai peppers prik khee nu cut into small slices stir fry the mixture for 1/2 Min. Add 2 tablespoon of prepared tamrac sauce, and 2 tablespoons of Thai fish sauce. the final step is to mix the 2 tablespoons of corn starch and 1/3 cup water and add to the sauce. Pour the basil and Thai chili sauce onto the Flounder and serve with rice.
