Ingredients For Making Green Chili

This is the list of ingredients that you will need to cook up some absolutely delicious green chili with pork:

Cooking Instructions For Green Chili

Start out by placing 2 pounds pork butt or pork shoulder in a large stock pot. Boil the pork until it is tender. Fire roasted 8 green Hatch chilies in your oven or on an outdoor grill. When the green chilies are have their skins cooked remove them and peal the skins off the green chilies. Add your spice mix to the stock pot including 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped fine, 2 teaspoons dried cumin, 2 cloves garlic, minced, and 4 table spoons of the Bald Chef’s custom chili powder. Add the 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, and remove the 2 pounds pork butt or pork shoulder and cut into bite size chunks. Then add the 28 oz. of crushed tomatoes, 1 white onion chopped fine, and return the cut 2 pounds pork butt or pork shoulder stew for 10 minutes. The final step is to add the 2 tablespoons flour, and cut the fire roasted green chilies. This green chili is great as a stew or toping for other Mexican dishes such as burritos or chili rellenos.
